I'm Here For You

Why can't you see

I'm here for you

Behind your mask

I care for you

It's not as though

Dreams don't come true

But you need help,

You know you do

So come to me

And stop that blue

Take off that mask

Real you shines through

You lead the way

I'll follow too

To guard you from

What humans do

But till you see

I'm here for you

I guess there's nothing

You can do.

Poem 9

Trampled

So many other girls

Loved you before

So you thought she'd be the same.

When you told her what she meant to you

And she locked herself outside

Nothing was worth anything

Anymore.

And she hid from you

And deleted you from life

And she knows what she did

But can't regret it

Then nothing more of you was hid --

Your soul is out there

Trampled on the ground.

But you have to learn to forget

Even when you cannot forgive

You've got to empty your heart and start over

Because now, if you don't want to live

You're going to miss your chance,

And never live again

To do life's crazy dance.
